The Sukat Makkaralla jug from Marimekko is made of aqua mouth-blown glass. The pitcher looks a bit like a 'Socks Rolled Down' that is so ribbed above your ankle, and that is exactly what Sukat Makkaralla means in the finnish. The series was designed by Anu Penttinen to complement the service and to add a playful shape to the collection.
It is recommended to wash the jug by hand.
Mix & match
The glasses pitcher with the matching glasses (available separately) fit perfectly with the Marimekko crockery. Despite the ridges, the jug is stylish and sleek and also a bit playful, which is a nice combination on the table. Glass fits every piece of crockery, so ideal to combine with whatever series you have from Marimekko.
