The experienced family company of Uyuni has been making candles for more than 25 years and they are continuously working on perfecting this. In 2006, the LED candle was introduced to the range as an innovative product that has the same desired effects as a traditional wax candle, but is safer and more user-friendly with a unique 3D flame. The candles are handmade with special attention to every detail.
Uyuni Lighting LED candles – the perfect candle
Uyuni Lighting candles are traditional in their aesthetics, luxurious to the touch and innovative in their mechanics. Not only is the 3D flame unique in its kind (patented), but Uyuni Lighting candles are also user-friendly that distinguishes them. You can manually turn the candle on and off or use the 6 hour timer on the candle (6 hours on and 18 off etc). In addition, it is possible with a remote control to expand the functionality with extra timer options (4, 6, 8 or 10 hours), a dimming function and switching multiple candles on and off at the same time. This remote control is available separately. Thanks to the timer function, you can be sure that the candle will go out after the number of hours selected and that it will not continue to burn unnecessarily. This saves the battery.
Uyuni Lighting has their own batteries with many burning hours especially for the LED candles. For example, for a pillar candle with a diameter of 7.8 cm you need 2 C batteries (€ 2.49), which give 1000 burning hours.
The LED flame prevents the candle from getting hot, making the candles safe and easy to move. In fact, the Uyuni candles are so safe that they can be left unattended for hours.
Inspiration for the LED lighting
The largest salt flat in the world is the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia in South America. A stretch of 129 km, exceptionally flat earth covered with a unique and mineral-rich salt crust. The crystal clear air and lack of light pollution above this plain make the night sky soothing of pure sparkling beauty. The innovative series of wax LED candles are designed to surprise the senses with a similar feeling.
The real wax surface of Uyuni candles provides the user with the same feeling, the same soft and inviting atmosphere of a regular wax candle. While the unique 3D flame provides a soft flickering light, illuminating any space safely, in a clean, smoke-free manner.
