This water jug with wool cover is from Lapuan Kankurit and perfect for winter and summer.
A hot water bottle provides gentle warmth and warms you up pleasantly when you are shivering from the cold. A hot water bottle also helps relieve stomach, shoulder and muscle pain. For children, a hot water bottle is an excellent aid for growing pains. You can also use the hot water bottle cold to cool you down a bit.

Lapaun Kankurit water jug with cover

The cover of the hot water bottle is woven and finished in Lapua from wool yarn spun from certified Wool Integrity NZ fibers (mulesing free virgin wool). The warp used is South American wool fiber, spun in Europe.

Lapuan Kankurit's strategy is that they take responsibility for the entire production, from yarn to the final product. For this wool cover, product development, material purchasing, loom programming and design, as well as shearing, weaving, finishing and fabric inspection are done in Lapua at their own weaving mill in Finland.

The jug

The water bottle in the cover is made in Germany by the company Fashy GmbH, the world leader in the production of hot water bottles. This hot water bottle has very good product properties. The capacity of the hot water bottle is 2.0 liters. You use hot water from the tap in the water pitcher. For safety reasons, do not use boiling water.

The hot water bottle is supplied with a twist closure and a hanging hook, made of polypropylene. The material is odorless and has fade-resistant colours. The hot water bottle is made of recyclable PVC. The bottles are easy to fill and the seamless neck prevents leakage. The hot water bottle comes with instructions on the product label in English. Hot water bottles comply with the British standard BS1970:2012 and have also been tested by TÜV Süd.

The hot water bottles are provided with the CE marking and fall under the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/ECC of 1993. The hot water bottles can be sterilized with steam.

Maintenance instructions

Remove the lid from the hot water bottle. Hand wash at max. 30°C or dry clean. If you use washing powder, dissolve it in sufficient water. Immerse the blanket in the water and wash it immediately. Squeeze gently. Do not scrub, stretch or wring out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the cover between the towels until it is semi-dry and let it dry in an airy room. Do not put in the dryer. Iron with a damp cloth, max. 150°C.
