Information

This Unikko cushion cover from Marimekko is made of an unbleached cotton and linen mix, in warm tones. The natural color of the unbleached fabric base is reflected in the Unikko petals.

This product is made of 79% cotton (of which 46% recycled cotton) and 21% recycled linen. The cover has a hidden zipper on one side.

Cushion covers from Marimekko are made of the full width of the fabric, so the same cushion made of the same fabric can still differ slightly, because the pattern is slightly staggered. This makes each pillow unique.

The cushion cover is delivered without inner cushion 40x60cm, but can be ordered directly if necessary.

Marimekko Unikko dessin

The design Unikko (poppy) was born in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, announced that Marimekko would never print a flower pattern. Maija Isola refused to follow Armi's orders and created - as a protest - a whole series of beautiful floral prints. One of them was Unikko, which has become a story of creativity, strength, courage and confidence in itself.

The Marimekko white inner cushion is firm yet soft cushion that fits in every 40x60 cushion cover. The outside of the cushion is white and made of 100% cotton and is filled with polyester. The pillow can be washed at 40 ° C, use 1/3 less detergent than normal (see washing instructions on the pillow).
