This Pieni Piirto Unikko cushion cover from Marimekko is made of an unbleached cotton and linen mix. The cover has a zipper on one side. Marimekko cushion covers are made from the full width of the fabric, so the same cushion made from the same fabric may differ slightly because the pattern shifts slightly. This makes each pillow unique.

The cushion cover is made of 79% cotton (of which 46% recycled) and 21% recycled linen.

The cushion cover is supplied without an inner cushion, but can be ordered directly if necessary.

The cushion cover is washable at 60 ° C, further follow the washing instructions given by Marimekko. You can find them on the label on the cushion cover.

Unikko

The Unikko (poppy) design was born in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, announced that Marimekko would never print a floral pattern. Maija Isola refused to follow Armi's orders and created - in protest - a whole series of beautiful floral prints. One of them was Unikko, which has become a story of creativity, strength, courage and self-confidence.

The Marimekko white inner cushion is firm yet soft cushion that fits in every 50x50 cushion cover. The outside of the cushion is white and made of 100% cotton and is filled with polyester. The pillow can be washed at 40 ° C, use 1/3 less detergent than normal (see washing instructions on the pillow).
