These stainless steel smoothie straws from Aya & Ida are the perfect straws for slightly thicker drinks and made of high-quality stainless steel that will last a lifetime. The bend in the straw is practical for children and the elderly.

These straws are the best replacements for plastic straws and prevent more waste. It is a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to disposable straws. The straws are made of food grade stainless steel type 18/8 and have a thickness of 0.8 mm and are 21.5 cm long and are even dishwasher safe. The straws come with a specially made small cleaning brush, so you can easily clean the inside of your straws.

For every pack of straws sold, the AYA&IDA Foundation donates 100 liters of clean water to children in need via UNICEF.

Are all Aya & Ida products BPA free?

Yes! All products are precisely designed from stainless steel with the aim of containing NO plastic. And absolutely nothing that can wear out over time and leak or release harmful and unhealthy substances like BPA and phthalates. The lids for the drinking bottles, Cup2go and Food'ie are therefore made of 100% pure polypropylene plastic, which is not affected by acids, bases and solvents - and is known for its durability. When it needs to be recycled, it makes a very small carbon footprint and is not considered problematic waste. Another advantage of polypropylene is that it can be used again and again for new purposes. In this way the material gets a new life. It is good for the environment and minimizes CO2 emissions.

Aya & Ida save nothing when it comes to choice of materials, because both respect for nature and people form their basis. Stainless steel products are safer than plastic and aluminum as they can be filled with any type of beverage/food without leaking chemicals.
