The special LIND DNA's cleaning spray Clean & Care has been specially developed for the gentle cleaning of LIND DNA placemats, glass coasters and all their other products made of recycled leather. The Clean & Care spray brings back the beautiful finish of the leather after use and adds a refreshing scent. The cleaner can either be sprayed directly onto the surface of the product or onto a damp cloth and the surface is wiped down until it looks like new.

Maintenance LIND DNA placemats and coasters

It is recommended to purchase a 250ml bottle of Clean & Care spray when purchasing LIND DNA products made from recycled leather, such as placemats and coasters.

You maintain the placemats and coasters by wiping them daily after use with a slightly damp cloth and also cleaning them 1x a week or 1x every 2 weeks (depending on how often you use the coaster) with the Clean & Care spray.

By wiping with a damp cloth, you largely remove all stains, but to really fully clean the placemats and coasters and to prevent water/lime stains in the long term, cleaning with the LIND DNA cleaning spray is necessary to keep the placemats and coasters looking good. always keep it looking good.

Leather Care Guide

Like most natural materials, LIND DNA products made from recycled leather require some care and maintenance to ensure they remain beautiful year after year.

A few simple tips will help preserve the natural beauty of the recycled leather.

• Clean your product with a damp cloth and with LIND DNA's cleaning spray CLEAN&CARE.
• Do not put recycled leather products in the dishwasher and do not soak the products in soap or water.
• Avoid staining from certain foods and liquids such as spices (e.g. paprika, saffron or curry), chili and red wine, as these can leave permanent stains, especially on lighter colours.
• Do not place hot objects such as pans on the placemats and coasters.
• Do not fold the placemats and coasters from recycled leather.
• We recommend that you always place the placemats and coasters on a dry and even surface.
• Be careful with oil treated tables because excess oil can be absorbed by the recycled leather product.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
