This Reversible Curve Nupo Dinner mat in Dark blue with Black from LIND DNA is made from OEKO-TEX® recycled leather. A responsible and sustainable choice for the table. The Dinner mat give your table setting that little bit extra because of the beautiful shapes and colours and the beautiful quality.

Because the placemats have a different color on both sides, you can decide which color you want for each occasion and therefore which look.

LIND DNA – recycled leather

The dinner mats are made from OEKO-TEX® certified recycled leather. The leather comes from the fashion and furniture industry and is surplus production residue. The leftover leather is granulated, after which it is compressed with natural rubber from trees. The result is a beautiful recycled leather quality, consisting of 80% leather and 20% natural rubber. This is finally coloured with water-based paint and provided with a beautiful natural surface structure.

The quality is incredibly durable, water resistant and easy to keep clean. The entire process from design to production for the table mats is completely done in our own workshop, in Denmark.

Dinner mat – NUPO design

Nupo is one of the most popular structures of LIND DNA. It has an exclusive, suede-like surface with a soft structure. Nupo is elegant and timeless and available in many different colours, a palette of colours in the Scandinavian style, so that there is the perfect colour for everyone. In the store in Deventer we have colour samples of all available – order-able colours.

The Dinner mat are 1.6mm thick and are therefore suitable for setting up your warm plate or cup. These table mats are not suitable for setting up a hot pan or hot teapot, they are too thin for this and this can cause damage to your table.

Table decoration

The dinner mats are a perfect replacement for a tablecloth. The great thing about using placemats is that you still see the table and the wood or colour of your table and will be part of the styling. Choose a contrasting colour or a tone-on-tone colour that matches your table and tableware. Matching glass mats are also available with the placemats. Choose one colour or a mix of colours to create your own personal table setting.

Maintenance placemats – Clean & Care spray

It is recommended to purchase a bottle of Clean & Care spray when purchasing a dinner mat.
You maintain the placemats by wiping them daily after use with a slightly damp cloth and also cleaning them 1x a week or 1x every 2 weeks (depending on how often you use the dinner mat) with the Clean & Care spray.
By wiping with a damp cloth, you largely remove all stains, but to really fully clean the dinner mat and to prevent water/lime stains in the long term, cleaning with the LIND DNA cleaning spray is necessary to always keep the dinner mats looking good. and keep looking.
