Marimekko Unikko & Kivet small plates set of 4 Ø9cm pink/light green/orange-red/dark green

This Marimekko mini plate set contains two small flower-shaped Unikko plates and two small Kivet plates. Handy for your tea bag, for serving chocolates with coffee, and for a dipping sauce.

• Marimekko recommends washing these products by hand.
• The plates are made of ceramic with different colored glazes.

• Unikko, a symbol of creativity, emerged at a time when Marimekko collections contained hardly any floral motifs. However, Maija Isola was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create a whole series of new floral prints.
• Maija Isola's Kivet design (stones) is based on circles cut out with scissors. The pattern was likely inspired by the large, rough stones that were removed by hand from the grounds surrounding the designer's studio.
