Kay Bojesen - Liv & Lykke – a loving ode to life

The duo consists of two FSC®-certified beechwood birds: a large bird in a muted dark green hue (10 cm high) and a smaller one in a warm yellow-green colour (6 cm high). Whether you display them together or use them separately, they tell your unique story – exactly as you experience it.

Both birds have identical beige-coloured heads and white beaks – a subtle yet powerful sign that they will always care for each other, whether they are together or far apart.

The Birds series is a collection of songbirds with unique names in a wide variety of playful colors. All birds in the Birds series are designed based on Kay Bojesen's original drawings from the 1950s and produced from FSC®-certified wood, which ensures that the trees have been planted, grown and felled responsibly. Kay Bojesen designed from his soul, humor and a twinkle in his eye and looked at the world from a child's perspective while creating new stories in wood. There had to be room for one's own imagination around the figures and the simple form language, bright colors and friendly expressions have become his signature.
