Marimekko Ensikukat cushion cover 50x50 cm dark blue

A beautiful cushion cover by Marimekko featuring the striking Ensikukat design in dark blue.

The cushion cover is made of unbleached cotton, which provides a natural, vibrant color and surface, although small dark dots originating from the cotton plant may appear. This also varies from cushion cover to cover.

The cushions are made from the full width of the fabric; consequently, a cushion made from the same fabric may differ slightly because the pattern shifts slightly. This makes every cushion unique.

The cushion cover is supplied without inner cushion, but can be ordered directly when necessary.

Cushions on the couch

The Ensikukat cushion cover is great to combine with other cushions on the sofa, with other Marimekko patterns or beautiful plain cushion covers, if you prefer something more subdued.

The cushion cover is washable at 60 ° C, follow the washing instructions given by Marimekko. You can find them on the label on the cushion cover.

In the print Ensikukat by Erja Hirvi, flowers, painted in different directions and layered on top of one another, intertwine in a wild tangle, as if the lines of the sketches have come to life. The miracle of growth and the long-awaited first flowers of spring are filled with hope and the promise of what is to come.

The name of the pattern refers to these first flowers.

Inner cushion

The cushion covers from Marimekko are supplied without inner cushion. You may still have a 50x50cm inner cushion in the house, if this is not the case, then you can order one immediately when you purchase the cover. The Marimekko white inner cushion is firm yet soft cushion that fits in every 50x50 cushion cover. The outside of the cushion is white and made of 100% cotton and is filled with polyester. The pillow can be washed at 40 ° C, use 1/3 less detergent than normal (see washing instructions on the pillow).
