Marimekko Unikko 1.2lt storage jar off-white

The high Unikko storage jar from Marimekko is made of white stoneware and has a subtle design in off-white. The jar has a cork lid with the Marimekko logo on the bottom. The pot looks beautiful in everyone's kitchen.

The design Unikko (poppy) was born in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, had announced that Marimekko would never print a flower pattern. Maija Isola refused to follow Armi's orders and created - out of protest - a whole series of beautiful floral prints. One of them was Unikko, which has become a story of creativity, strength, courage and confidence in itself.
