Stig Lindberg - Berså

Stig Lindberg (1916–1982) was one of Sweden's most influential designers and a key figure in Scandinavian design. He worked for decades at the Swedish porcelain factory Gustavsberg, where he became known for tableware such as Spisa Ribb and especially the beloved Berså, recognizable by its iconic green leaf motif.

His work was playful, imaginative and versatile, from ceramics and glass to textiles, book illustrations and industrial design. In addition to his work as a designer, he also taught at Konstfack in Stockholm and received several international awards, including at the Milan Triennale. His designs are still beloved and timeless, true classics of Scandinavian design.
