Architectmade Panda large H15cm - Architect BIG Bjarke Ingels Group

This beautiful wooden panda was designed for Architectmade by the BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group following the arrival of two pandas, for whom they were commissioned to design an enclosure. The upper body pivots on the lower body, and the arms and legs are movable.

Pandas in Copenhagen

To mark the arrival of two giant pandas, the Copenhagen Zoo commissioned BIG to design an enclosure for them. The layout and configuration are aimed at creating ideal conditions for mating. The design of the enclosure is inspired by the yin-yang symbol, which in Chinese philosophy represents opposing but balanced forces within a circle.
