Erja Hirvi brought the cheerfully blooming Kukasta Kukkaan print to life during a creative burst at her summer residence, fully inspired by flowers. The loosely composed pattern emerged while painting and captured the countless ways flowers appear in nature. The Finnish name of the design translates to "from flower to flower" – a reference to the playful flight of bumblebees among summer flowers.
