• Marimekko kitchen textiles are made from the full width of the fabric; consequently, a tea towel made from the same fabric may still differ due to the staggered pattern. This makes every product unique.

Fabrics with recycled fibers have a natural, vibrant color and surface on which small, differently colored areas may appear. There may be differences between products regarding this characteristic.

Wash the tea towels before use, follow the washing instructions on the tea towels, and do not add fabric softener, as this can affect drying performance. The tea towels dry extremely well.

Marimekko Kitchen textiles

Marimekko Kurre design

The Kurre (squirrel) design builds on Aino-Maija Metsola’s forest stories and features a lively group of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts. When the designer was young, squirrels were a familiar sight in his garden. The original artwork was created with brush and ink on paper.
