Marimekko Pieni Kurre oven mitt sky blue

This Pieni Kurre potholder by Marimekko is handy in the kitchen and also very decorative thanks to the beautiful squirrel design. The oven mitt is made of 100% unbleached Panama cotton and has a polyester lining. The oven mitt features a handy loop for hanging.

The oven mitt measures 15 x 31.5 cm. The oven mitts are sold individually.

This sturdy, heat-resistant oven mitt combines functionality with the beautiful design Marimekko is known for.

The oven mitt is made of Panama cotton, lined for extra protection, and features a handy hanging loop. Ideal for safely handling hot pans or baking dishes with style and comfort. The potholder is made of 100% unbleached Panama cotton (50% recycled) and has a polyester filling (50% recycled polyester). The fabric is printed in Helsinki at the Marimekko factory.

• Unbleached fabrics, as well as fabrics with recycled fibers, have a natural, vibrant color and a surface on which small color variations may occur. There may be differences between products regarding this characteristic.
• The kitchen textile is made from the full width of the fabric; consequently, the same potholder or apron made from the same fabric may still differ due to the staggered pattern. This makes every product unique.

Marimekko Kurre design

The Kurre (squirrel) design builds on Aino-Maija Metsola’s forest stories and features a lively group of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts. When the designer was young, squirrels were a familiar sight in his garden. The original artwork was created with brush and ink on paper.
